Fell in battle: ט"ז חשוון תשפ"ד | 31.10.2024

A fighter in the Tzabar Battalion of the Givati Brigade.

He was 19 years old at the time of his death.

The eldest son of Yafit and Yaron, and brother to Omri.

Born in Herzliya, Lior graduated with distinction, majoring in physics and software engineering in the Nachshon excellence program for gifted students.

Lior was known for his optimism, calm spirit, and the smile that never left his face.

The values that guided him were kindness and dedication to every mission he took on.

In a time management workshop in 12th grade, he wrote:

“The values that guide me in life are: never do wrong to someone who hasn’t wronged me, help those who truly deserve help, take things lightly because everything passes eventually, look forward, and never give up — even when things are hard — on something I want to achieve.”

On October 31st, after several days of combat in the northern Gaza Strip, Lior took part in an operation in the town of Jabaliya.

That morning, following a night of intense fighting, his armored vehicle (Namer) was hit by an anti-tank missile.

Lior and ten of his comrades were killed in the attack.
