Nadav’s family immigrated from France and settled in Jerusalem, where he was born and raised.
He studied at Kol Mevaser Yeshiva High School and was known as a kindhearted, well-mannered, and deeply musical young man, loved by everyone.
Nadav was organized and disciplined, approaching every role he filled with great seriousness, responsibility, and dedication — always striving for excellence.
He had an inner calm that radiated outward. He was joyful and optimistic, always seeing the good in others and seeking peace and unity.
Nadav had a rare balance of seriousness and lightheartedness — his gentle, reassuring smile reflected the kind of person one could always rely on: a loyal friend, attentive to others’ needs, and always helping with all his heart.
Nadav fought in the Gaza Strip for three weeks before his fall.
On Saturday, December 23, 2023, during an operational mission in central Gaza, an explosive device was remotely detonated next to the Hummer vehicle he was riding in. The explosion struck the left side of the vehicle, and Nadav was killed instantly
